Embed a web form on another site
Once you’ve created a web form in Groundhogg, you can easily share it beyond your WordPress site using embedding options. These options, all accessible from the funnel builder’s "Web Form" benchmark, give you flexibility to display your form on remote sites or share it as a standalone page.
How to Access the Embedding Options
- Open Groundhogg > Funnels in your WordPress dashboard.
- Select the funnel containing your web form.
- Click the "Web Form" benchmark in the funnel builder to reveal the embedding options.
- Copy the code or URL you need directly from this panel.
You have two powerful ways to embed your form on other sites:
- Iframe JavaScript Embed Code
- What It Does: This code loads your form as an iframe on remote websites (e.g., a blog, landing page, or client site). An iframe keeps the form self-contained, so it won’t conflict with the site’s styling.
- How to Use It:
- Copy the JavaScript embed code from the "Web Form" benchmark.
- Paste it into the HTML of the target site where you want the form to appear.
- Save and refresh the page to see your form live.
- Best For: Embedding on external platforms where you want full control over the form’s look and feel.
- Hosted URL
- What It Does: This is a direct link to a standalone version of your form, hosted by Groundhogg. Contacts can visit the URL and fill out the form without needing to embed it anywhere.
- How to Use It:
- Copy the Hosted URL from the "Web Form" benchmark.
- Share it via email, social media, or any channel where you want contacts to access the form.
- Best For: Quick sharing or when you don’t have access to edit a website’s code.
