Error: Failure Reason: funnel_inactive: The funnel is not active.
While investigating an error in the Groundhogg > Logs > Events Log, you might encounter Error Code: funnel_inactive and Error Message: the funnel is not active, even if the funnel is, in fact, active.
This is a rare error and can happen if the step status and funnel status get out of sync or if there is an error during a funnel update that prevents the step status from updating as well.
Resolution: Deactivated the funnel and save it. Then reactivate it and save it.
If there were several failures select the failed contacts using the checkbox and Bulk Edit > Run Again
