How to add a note through a funnel or internal form

HOW TO: WEB FORM BENCHMARK & NOTES

1. Create a Meta field in a Contact named "Note" to store the notes associated with the contact.
   
2. Navigate to the funnel that contains the Web Form Benchmark you want to work with.
   

   

3. Inside the "Web Form" benchmark, add a field, preferably a Textarea, and assign the internal name "Note" to it.
   
4. Include the "Add Note" action within the benchmark.
   
5. In the WYSIWYG editor of the "Add Note" action, insert the replacement code {meta.note}. Set to "Active" and [ Update ]
   
6. When someone fills out the form and adds information to the Note field, it will be automatically added along with other data for the new contact.
   

Following these steps will allow you to create a Web Form Benchmark that captures and stores notes within the Meta field of the associated contact.
