Groundhogg not loading

If you encounter issues such as pages failing to load, an ongoing spinner, email templates not displaying, or encountering an error message stating "No route was found matching the URL and request method" after installing Groundhogg, the cause might be due to your WordPress permalinks settings still being set to "Plain".

Permalinks, which determine the structure of your URLs, should ideally be set to a format other than "Plain". This is because the "Plain" permalink structure uses URLs that are less descriptive and can sometimes cause compatibility issues, particularly with plugins like Groundhogg.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Go to "Settings" and click on "Permalinks".
  3. Choose any permalink structure option other than "Plain". The "Post name" option is the most commonly used and recommended.
  4. Click on "Save Changes" to update your permalink settings.

By updating your permalink settings to a format other than "Plain", such as "Post name", you can help ensure compatibility with Groundhogg and prevent issues related to URL routing and page loading.
