Create your own custom benchmark using the Plugin API

You could create your own custom benchmark, but as we routinely update the registration flow, and backwards compatibility is not always guaranteed.

However, we do provide a future-proof method to integrate your own custom benchmarks into the funnel builder without having to actually create an entire plugin.

With the Advanced Features extension (which is also included in our basic plan or above), there is a benchmark called the Plugin API benchmark.

Add it to your funnel in the most relevant spot, and then you can give it a call name which we will use later in our code.

Underneath the Call Name is some example PHP code you can copy to use in your code.

Below is a robust example of how to trigger the benchmark when a new comment is made on the site.
