forms.app Forms Integration

forms.app is an accessible online form builder that streamlines the creation of personalized forms, including surveys, contact forms, and registration forms. This comprehensive guide demonstrates how to integrate forms.app with Groundhogg, allowing you to seamlessly manage and utilize data collected through your forms for efficient marketing automation.

Requirements:
Before proceeding, ensure you have the following:

• Groundhogg plugin
• Groundhogg Advance Features Extension
• forms.app account

Step 1: Create a Funnel in Groundhogg

1. Create a funnel - Groundhogg > Funnels [ Add New ]
2. Click the [ Start from scratch ] button
3. Name the funnel "forms.app Form funnel"
4. Click [ Benchmarks ], Drag the Webhook Listener into the funnel
5. Set funnel "Active" and [ Save ]
   
6. Copy the Listener URL to your clipboard
   Creating your forms.app account, you can visit the forms.app dashboard. Click the [ Create Form ] button

You can start with a blank or select from the many templates available. In this example, I will select the "Contact Inquiry Form"

Customize the form to your liking and [Save ]

In the top menu click "Connect", and search for the Webhook

Enter the URL you copied from the Webhook listener in the forms.apps form funnel. Groundhogg does not require a SECRET KEY, enter "groundhogg". [ SAVE THE WEBHOOK ]

[ SAVE ] your form. Click the eye in the top right corner to open the form.

Fill in the fields and submit the form. Visit the  forms.apps form funnel in Groundhogg and click the [ Map Request Fields ]

This can be the trickiest part. You will be presented with a large list of results, look for the test submission data such as the name and email and map to the fields in Groundhogg.

[ Save changes ] and then [ Update ] the funnel. 

Congratulations! Your forms.app form is now effectively integrated with Groundhogg.
