Email Log

By default, Email logging is not enabled. How to enable logging. You will be presented with a notification. You can click the [ Settings ] button or the "email settings" link to be taken to the settings if you want to enable it. 

In the Email log, you have the flexibility to organize your emails. You can categorize them as All, Sent, Failed, WordPress, Transactional, or Marketing. Moreover, you can refine your search using a variety of criteria including Everywhere, Subject, Body, Recipient, and Headers. Additionally, you have the option to filter emails by date, whether it's before, after, or between specific dates. This level of control allows you to easily manage and find your emails as needed.

When reviewing the log, in the list view you will see the Subject, Recipient, Status(Sent or Failed), and Sent(Date sent). Hovering over an email, a Resend and View Details link will be presented under the Subject. The View Details can help to see failed issues. 

To delete or resend emails, click the checkbox next to Subject to select all on the page or click the checkbox on specific emails. Select [ Bulk actions ] and apply.

Email Log Filters

Logs
( From address, Subject, Content, Headers, Error messages, Email service, Message Type, Status, Error code, Date sent, Recipient)

From Subject, Address,Content, Headers and Error messages offer the same filters
  1. Select From Subject, Address, Content, Headers or Error messages Value is (Equals, Not equals, Contains, Does not contain, Starts with, Ends with, Does not start with, Does not end with, Is empty, Is not empty)
  2. Enter a value
  3. Click the ✓ to apply the filter
  4. Click the trash can to remove the filter
Email Service
  1. Select Email Service(WordPress Default, Log Only, {depending on what extensions are installed: i.e. MailHawk, SMTP, etc.})
  2. Click the ✓ to apply the filter
  3. Click the trash can to remove the filter
Message Type
  1. Select if Message Type(Marketing, Transactional, WordPress)
  2. Click the ✓ to apply the filter
  3. Click the trash can to remove the filter
Status
  1. Select Status(Sent, Failed)
  2. Click the ✓ to apply the filter
  3. Click the trash can to remove the filter
Error Code
  1. Select Error Code(If any have been generated)
  2. Click the ✓ to apply the filter
  3. Click the trash can to remove the filter
Date Sent
  1. Select a time frame (At any time, Today, This week, This Month, This Year, In the last 24 hours, In the last 7 days, In the last 30 days, In the last 60 days, In the last 90 days, In the last 365 days, Before, After, Between)
  2. Click the ✓ to apply the filter
  3. Click the trash can to remove the filter
Recipient
  1. Select/Search a recipient
  2. Click the ✓ to apply the filter
  3. Click the trash can to remove the filter
