Booking Calendar: How to integrate with Google calendar
Groundhogg booking calendar allows you to integrate with Google if you wish to do so.
How to integrate with Google Calendar:
Log into your WordPress install.
Click on Groundhogg > Calendars:
Navigate to the Integrations tab:
Click on the connect to your Google account button.
Next, you will want to choose the main email you wish to integrate:
Click the allow button on the next screen:
How to customize your integration:
You will be returned to a screen that allows you to continue setting up the integration:
If you have multiple email addresses, make sure to select the right calendar you want.
If you have multiple calendars, select which one you want to add appointments to. For example, you could have a calendar just for appointments.
- IMPORTANT: You can only select one calendar to add the appointment to.
Next, you can choose multiple calendars you wish to check availability against. That way, appointments will not get overbooked with corresponding calendars.
IMPORTANT: this is not the same as which calendar to add the appointment to.
If you would like to make your meeting available on Google Meet make sure to click the check box.
How to change the appointment name:
When Groundhogg records this appointment onto your Google Calendar - by default it will list the name of the contact (person requesting an appointment) and the name of the calendar owner.
However, there are ways you can customize this. Groundhogg gives a couple of suggestions here:

You can also choose to include information in the notes section in your Google calendar - this area takes both replacement codes and text.
Click Save
You will then need to test the integration by creating an appointment and accepting it.
